Sharon Steven lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. Since 2007, they’ve “hacked” several film formats and cameras, creating unique images conveyed against the material’s intended use. Upon graduating from the School of Visual Arts in 2013, they served as Print Assistant and Mentee to international artist, Aura Rosenberg. In 2018, they founded Brooklyn Instant Film Initiative, a analog workshop that produces customized camera film.
